Moving in the Miraculous

The purpose of this website is to challenge people to experience what it means to be a child of God. The Old and New Testaments outline powerful miracles beyond any human comprehension where individuals experienced the reality of God and they saw the miraculous. Water flooded the entire earth during the days of Noah; there were many plagues upon Egypt during the days of Moses; and people crossed through the Red Sea with waters divided like high walls on each side. The prophet Elisha had a woman holding on to his feet (2 Kgs 4:27) and he exclaimed, “God has hidden it from me and has not told me”. He was surprised to not know what the problem was. Often today, people are shocked when God shows them what is going on or gives divine direction on what to do.

Hebrews 11 describes believers who walked this earth looking to God by faith, believing God would reward them for their faith. The early church, after the resurrection of Christ, saw signs and wonders confirming the going forth of God’s Word. Jesus gave His disciples power and authority and we see the 12 disciples walking in power. Right after Jesus was crucified, He told followers (Luke 24:49) to “wait for the promise of the Father that you will be endued with power from on high.” Act 1:8 is the exact fulfillment of what Jesus asked His followers to do. They needed to have power from above to be His witnesses and they were told to wait until they received it.

Why is it that we as a church today do not always reflect what was seen in the early church? We don’t often see the gifts of the spirit and the fruit of the spirit flowing as we know they should. OR perhaps believers are not reading and studying their bibles and stepping out in obedience, by faith, to do what God is saying to them. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to convict us of sin, and righteousness, and the judgment to come. The Holy Spirit is in each one of us who has opened our hearts to Jesus to be our Savior and Lord. He becomes our teacher and comforter and he guides us know right from wrong and experience a real relationship with God, so we and the body of Christ will be blessed.

We can look and see it is obvious that the church overall is not walking in the Spirit and power of God. Rather than let that discourage us, we need to be doers of the word and not hearers only! We need to draw near to God, so he will draw near to us. We need to get priorities right, seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness and be willing to step out into a dimension that is beyond the natural man. Spiritual men and women see, hear and know things because of the Spirit of God. We should be unwilling to be Sunday go-to-meeting Christians in word only, but instead strongly desire God’s will to be done in and through our actions. We strive to hear “well done good and faithful servant” at the end of our journey on earth.

You too can be moved in the miraculous! Get into the unchanging word of the Bible and read as someone who desperately wants to be a man or woman of God in both thought and deed. Ask God to baptize you in the Holy Spirit so you can experience the power from on high. Get together with others who want to know and please God. Invite friends, family or co-workers to listen to a teaching each week and write down and discuss key areas that you can discuss together. Acts 4 says the disciples prayed and asked God to give them boldness and that signs and wonders would be done. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened.

Our website is meant to provide you with solid, inspirational teaching. As you listen with an open heart, God will open your eyes and ears to spiritual things. Dare to be different and make a godly difference!
